FCASV Enters the Digital World!
For the past year, FCASV staff has been working with a web designer to create a custom website that will meet the needs of our ever growing organization. The goal of this new website was to create a platfrom for FCASV to better communicate our message and for users to be enabled to easily access information and resources available to them. The new site was officially launched about 10 months ago, and we have been steadily building on it ever since.
Some of the new features that we have added include:
1. Online training registration and events calendar
2. Online brochures and ordering forms
3. Rape Crisis Center Directory
4. Sexual Violence in the News
5. Registered user login
In addition to these basic features, FCASV has added a new blog that will be updated weekly and will include discussion on current events, highlights of new projects, resource notifications, legislative session updates, and other hot topics. To supplement the website, FCASV has now joined twitter and Facebook and will soon be linking directly to these sources from our website. With these tools, we hope to assist rape crisis centers, allied professionals, and survivors find the best, most useful resources availble in our state.
Stay tuned...more to come!
