Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The 40 hour SANE training is geared toward APRNs, RNs, Physician Assistants and
Physicians. It is an approved International Association of Forensic Nurses course, which adheres to the National Protocol for Sexual Assault Examinations for adults and adolescents. Upon completion of the training, the medical
professional will have a clear understanding of, the principles of a sexual assault medical forensic exam; injury assessment and documentation; trauma informed care; evidence collection, packaging and evidentiary chain of custody.
