$1,000 scholarships are available through OVC-TTAC for professional development conferences and events. The application must be in 60 days before the event (by March 20 for our May 20-22 Summit) .
- Event registration fees (excluding late registration fees)
- Lodging expenses (up to the Federal Government rate)
- Meals and incidental expenses (up to the Federal Government rate)
- Ground transportation
- Travel expenses (not to exceed $600)
Eligible applicants include service providers from any organization, public, nonprofit, or faith-based, who provide direct victim services within the United States.
Only one professional development scholarship is awarded per calendar year per agency. The individual applying must work directly with crime victims and have been doing so for at least one year.
The applicant’s organization must have insufficient funds to otherwise pay for the summit.
Multidisciplinary team scholarships for up to $5,000 are also available.
