Theresa L. Prichard, Esq., is the Chief Executive Officer of Gulfcoast Legal Services, a nonprofit law firm dedicated to serving low-income and vulnerable residents of the Tampa Bay Area. She leads a team at GLS that provides wrap-around and client-centered legal representation. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Stetson University College of Law, teaching client-centered and trauma-informed legal advocacy, and is a member of The Florida Bar. Previously, she served as Associate Director and General Counsel at the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence, where she led teams advocating for survivors of sexual violence across Florida. Before joining FCASV in January of 2014, she spent over five years as an attorney at Legal Services of North Florida, representing domestic and sexual violence survivors in immigration and family law matters.  She is the co-author of “Interventions in the Aftermath of Sexual Violence: Justice, Advocacy, and Treatment” in the Handbook of Interpersonal Violence Across the Lifespan.  She graduated from the Florida State University College of Law in 2008, where she advocated for children in prison as a member of the former Children’s Advocacy Center at FSU (now Public Interest Law Center), and clerked at Legal Services of North Florida as a Florida Bar Foundation Fellow.  She received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of South Florida.
