Supporting Survivors During the Holidays

Description:

The holidays can be a time of stress for many trauma survivors because of increased isolation or interaction with family who may have caused harm. They may perceive the rest of the world as joyful and happy while they feel the sadness of past events. However, many survivors are dedicated to their healing and may want to move forward by re-engaging. This may mean participating in beloved traditions or forming new ones. Join us as we discuss ways to help survivors think through the holidays, identify potential triggers, and utilize tools to support healing.
